Living our Faith
Our Catholic faith is an essential element in our school life. Students and staff are encouraged to put their Fruits of the Holy Spirit into action for the local and global community. We are guided by the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations in terms of knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and actions.
In our first week of classes, we speak to students about commitment, faith, respect and responsibility. We encourage our students to contribute to the school community through care for one another, service to others and consideration of our environment. By putting faith into action in our extended community activities, students have the opportunity to make connections between their faith and future goals.
We work together - students, staff and parents - to live our faith. This includes prayer, liturgies, outreach activities in Dominican Republic, as well as opportunities to hear speakers on local and global events. There are many students involved in different ministries at Holy Trinity and we welcome everyone who is interested in participating. Our Chaplain is available to meet with students, provides referrals to appropriate community agencies, and plans retreats and activities that integrate our faith into our academic and co-curricular programs.
